Siblings Steve and Margot were interviewed by Matt Gard from abc 13 On Your Side. One of the many initiatives The Gregory H. Montgomery Jr. Foundation supports, is providing mental health resources for Michigan State Student Athletes. Last year’s contribution enabled the hiring of two mental health professionals which the department relied heavily on to help the student athletes get through the tragic shootings on campus.

Greg’s sister, Margot talks about the importance of giving kids “tools in their tool box” to help if problems arise. The foundation’s main fundraising event is their annual Fore Love & Wellness Tournament which includes golf, tennis, pickleball and a kickoff silent auction. Last year the foundation provided mental health first aid certification for Greg’s high school alma mater among many other initiatives.
